Building stronger marriages…together.
This Fall our church, NorthPoint Community Church, will be launching their 8 week marriage small group program called Thrive. If you’re local to Atlanta, read below why this may be the next best decision you make:
Your marriage is what you make it, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer.
So, how are you doing?
Every marriage has room to grow, and we all can benefit from a deeper relationship with our spouses. Yet, we never seem to have time to just work on our marriages. No matter how long you have been married, Thrive will help you understand God’s plan for your marriage and discover new insights about your relationship with your spouse.
So true but who has the time? Perhaps carving out two hours for someone else to lead you through thought provoking curriculum may be doable, right?
Groups meet for 8 weeks in homes throughout the Atlanta area and cover topics such as communication, conflict, forgiveness, and the effect your past has on your marriage.
All different stages of marriage join Thrive. Some are good, striving for more. Some have become roommates and not sure how to reconnect and there are some who have decided this is the last resort before divorce. Whatever stage you’re in, this curriculum will generate conversation on topics that will lead you to have a stronger bond with your spouse. Know someone who might be interested in this short term small group, please share using the social media icons above!
Russ and I are excited to be Thrive facilitators. Russ says he is a better husband during the 8 weeks. Why yes, he is! haha Groups are offered both in the Spring and Fall. If you can’t make it this Fall, consider registering in the Spring.
Many of you have taken Thrive and are wondering can we, should we do it again? Absolutely! You’re in a different stage in your marriage and perhaps you’ll consider facilitating groups in the future. It’s simply guiding the group through the curriculum and being transparent about your own marriage journey. Trust me, no one ever “arrives” at a perfect marriage! If interested, you’ll be asked to sit in with a Thrive group and apprentice during the 8 week curriculum before leading a group on your own.
